I have rented my own space again, complete with an exercise area for teaching MFR DISCOVERY Classes!

I’m excited to have more space and be able to share not only great hands on bodywork myofascial release and cranial sacral treatments, but also small group or virtual MFR DISCOVERY and MFR Unwinding Sessions!

My goal is to help you learn how to treat yourself and take care of yourself in addition to helping you release long held spasms, guarding patterns, and scar tissue.

Optimal Health and Performance has been a great place to work and a real blessing for me to be with wonderful chiropractors, massage professionals, and office assistants who I will surely miss!  It has been awesome to be a part of this great team of highly effective clinicians.

Petti Groth has installed a “YOGA WALL” at Synergy. I plan to work with clients on the wall in semiprivate group sessions at the studio once training is complete in August. More to come on that new prospect, but if you like the unwinding with me, the wall gives a deeper way for you to work on deep restrictions.

MFR Toolbox Unwinding Class will be held at Synergy Yoga Studio Jan 27th at 10:30am.

This 90 minute class will feature Sheri Brimm PT, advanced level John Barnes Myofascial Release Therapist, teaching myofascial release self treatment techniques including use of small balls, foam rollers, MFR stretching techniques as well as self unwinding and self rebounding.
This is a very relaxing class done mostly laying down, with some sitting and standing. There are no challenging or forceful exercises or movements.
The studio has a flight of steps, so participants will need to be able to climb the steps to the studio. Kids who are at least 7 years of age can attend. Techniques can be modified for most medical conditions or disabilities.

ANNOUNCING MASSAGE THERAPY

NBMT now has massage therapy establishment license and ready to accept clients for massages. We have licensed massage therapist who specializes in a variety of
techniques including John Barnes MFR, and reflexology!
No Dr. orders or Dr. consults are required, and no paperwork needed!
Appointments are required though, walk in not available.
We are celebrating the addition of our massage services and the Solar Eclipse which is on my birthday in August, by offering a special package.
Massage individual hour prices with MFR specialist LMT is $75/hr.

SYNERGY YOGA MFR UNWINDING CLASSES

These are larger group classes taught to the general public to give basic MFR self release skills. Classes are held at Synergy Yoga Studio on Broad Street (gray building just across from the Outdoor experience, come upstairs). Our full day retreat FACING THE FEAR with Synergy Yoga was a powerful healing experience! Clients learned about unwinding, self release, awareness, energy movement, and releasing the mind/emotional connections that make them guard and tense up. The participants requested another date so we definitely plan to do another one in the fall, date to be determined but tentatively in early October.

3) Semi private Unwinding Class: I’m considering offering a weekly class where I can do a small group and have some hands on 3-4 people. I would ask for a weekly commitment for at least 4 weeks as I will be going over different material each week.
The cost would be $25 for 45-50 minutes. Would this be of interest?

INTENSIVE HEALING PROGRAM 

New Beginnings Myofascial Therapy LLC can now offer an intensive program that includes 1 and half to 2 hours twice weekly.   Half of each visit will be spent with Sheri Brimm PT and the other half with Tanya Bodsford PTA (soon to be LMT as well ) to provide more intensive release and relaxation experience and allow for more time spent on home program and self treatment teaching.  We have trialed this with a few clients and noticing that the intensive option is great for those who come from out of town or want a really quick result.   Clients who heal the fastest are those who take an active role and dedicate time and effort to their self treatment program.  This program gives you the intensive releases and the self treatment skills you need to maintain and progress between sessions.

You can use your visit package discount $300 for each 4 hours.
